A Proud Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB)

As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), we at DIS are deeply committed to upholding values that are integral to both our identity and the quality of service we provide. These values reflect the military principles and standards that guide us in supporting our clients, many of whom are veterans themselves. We strive to honor our veteran-owned roots by fostering a culture of integrity, excellence, and dedication to serving others.

SDVOSB is a small business designation that allows Veterans to turn their passions and skills into successful companies. To qualify, Veteran owners must have service-related disabilities that occurred or got worse in their active military, naval, or air service.

Once designated, the federal government awards at least 5% of all federal contracting dollars to SDVOSBs each year, and certain federal contract opportunities are limited to SDVOSBs.

In this way, the government helps service-disabled Veterans continue their service in a whole new way—by creating innovative solutions and making an impact in the business world.

“When we first sketched out DIS, we set out to build something great—to make a positive impact,” says CEO JD Sullivan. “Fifteen years later, we’re in our stride, and this incredible year reflects the impact we’re making. Our team continues to deliver innovative solutions that drive meaningful change, create real value, and elevate the support available to Veterans. I couldn’t be more proud of the dedication and passion that drive this team forward every day.”

And that’s the real success of SDVOSBs—the incredible people our team gets to meet, work with, and serve.

“It’s humbling, and at the same time, so rewarding to see the impact of our work every day,” he adds.

As a business rooted in service, we believe strongly in the value of diverse voices, perspectives, and experiences. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment within our team and in our work.

At DIS, we are honored to bring our shared commitment to service into our work, helping to make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
