DIS Awarded Veterans Benefits Administration’s Automated Benefits Delivery Contract

Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is proud to announce that it has been awarded a 5-year contract to support strategic communications and change management for the Veterans Benefits Administration’s (VBA) Office of Automated Benefits Delivery (ABD). This contract, won in collaboration with partner IBM, focuses on providing integrated strategic communications and change management support for ABD’s technology modernization initiatives.  To enhance the Veteran experience, DIS will implement a comprehensive approach to reaching and engaging Veterans, dependents, and internal and external stakeholders.

ABD is modernizing VA’s approach to disability claims processing improving manually intensive processes using automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and rules-based processing. Automation offers VBA the ability to process claims more efficiently, reduce the time that claims processors spend on administrative tasks, and provide more consistent claims decisions. The mission and work of ABD represents a major leap forward in claims processing scalability and efficiency.

This contract is a significant step in the ongoing effort to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of VA’s operations and improve delivery and awareness of benefits to Veterans.

“As an SDVOSB, this contract is especially meaningful to us,” said Nicole Carey, DIS Chief Strategy Officer. “The opportunity to implement a broad range of strategic communications and change management activities that support streamlining and improving VA’s benefits delivery fulfills our commitment not just to improve government efficiency, but also to make a direct impact on the lives of Veterans. It’s our honor to support VA, ABD, and all those who have served.”
