To improve the transparency of IT spending and reduce duplicative efforts enterprise-wide, DIS developed and proposed an improved IT governance approach and refined models for IT investment and cybersecurity management. Further, the team created an updated IT strategy and process to align SBA’s IT budget, forecasting, and allocation processes related to the agency’s IT capital planning and management.

Result

Through our creation and support of the implementation of a comprehensive IT roadmap, SBA was empowered to fully participate in the digital economy, meet the requirements of the President’s Management Agenda, and improve internal operations. Additionally, we created and supported the implementation of SBA’s cyber risk corrective action plan and associated communications and training activities, aiding SBA in maturing and optimizing its cybersecurity program.
